The Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) authority allows Food And Drug Administration (FDA) to make a judgment if a certain drug can strengthen the nation's health. With the impending threats, countries created a way through EUA to hasten the vaccination of their citizens in order to fight off COVID-19. Rigorous tests were done from both approved companies based on the data gathered and efficacy of the test thus deeming companies like Pfizer and Moderna fit for EUA agreement. There were roughly 44,000+ patients tested and most of the results created a high percentage of efficacy achieving about 93-94%.
